Back in 2017 Di & Steve were wanting to move from their Hampshire bungalow (where Steve had actually lived since he was born!) to their dream home and opening of a B&B in the rolling hills of Wales.
Originally looking for just over 6 months with countless miles covered back and forth trying to find 'the one' when a friend suggested "Why not try the show Escape to the country?" - skip a few weeks ahead and filming began.

The rest is history! Steve & Di chose the mystery house and within a matter of weeks were moved in and ready to start their new adventure with their 2 ponies and cat, Tippy.

Steve & Di really are showing Tom & Barbara how the good life is really done. Now with a beautiful veg patch, hens, sheep, (sometimes Pigs), another pony and the addition of official first mate Kelly the Collie.
